Stephen is a founding therapist and owner of Dynamic Physical Therapy. He is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and graduated from the PTA program at Delgado in 1995. Stephen's professional career started with inpatient and outpatient neurologic rehabilitation. He has served as the former treasurer and president of the American Society of Safety Engineers. Stephen is certified in aquatic therapy, TMJ, vestibular therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, Kinesiotaping and administering Worksteps. Stephen is a member of the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association, American Physical Therapy Association and is a Private Practice section member. He treats a variety of patients but has a keen interest in patients with challenging shoulder problems that may stop them from doing what they love. He has developed a specialized Scoliosis program and achieved amazing results with people of all ages. His specialties and experience have led him to a passion for mentoring fellow clinicians. In his spare time, Stephen fishes competitively, enjoys working out in the gym and spending time with his family.
Michelle is a founding therapist and owner of Dynamic Physical therapy. She graduated from the physical therapy program at LSU Medical School of Allied health in 1995. She opened the Westbank clinic in 2000, seven years later she opened the Covington clinic. Michelle is certified in treating Women's Health and pelvic floor, TMJ and vestibular conditions, aquatics, performing functional capacity evaluations, and return to work screens. Michelle started her specialty training with continuing education through Herman and Wallace for treatment of incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse and obstetrics in 1996. Michelle assisted in the development of the Woman’s Health Program at a large teaching hospital in New Orleans with OB/GYN and Urology Department heads. She continued with extensive training through the APTA’s Section on Women’s Health including obstetric health, women’s and men's pelvic health and with ISSWSH focusing on Women's Sexual Health. Michelle is a member of SIWSH, Southern Institute for Women’s Sexual Health. She has been practicing and mentoring Physical Therapists with specializations in musculoskeletal disorders of the spine and extremities, as well as pelvic pain and dysfunction. Currently her practice offers treatment to address all components of pelvic health focusing on pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, pregnancy and post-partum, post-surgery, post-cancer, aging, and sexual dysfunction across the lifespan. Michelle is on the advisory board for LSUHSC in New Orleans.
Scott Newton
Physical Therapist
Scott is a Physical Therapist at Dynamic Physical Therapy's Covington location. He is a native of Bunkie, Louisiana who graduated from UL at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. Scott attended physical therapy school at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences where he earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a concentration in manual therapy. He is certified in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and in administering Worksteps testing. Scott is married and has 3 little boys. He lives in Abita Springs and enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors, fishing and camping.
Cathy-Anne Delaune

Cathy-Anne Delaune is a Physical Therapist at Dynamic Physical Therapy's Covington location. Cathy-Anne resides in Folsom, LA and is an alum of St Scholastica Academy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University, and her Master of Physical therapy from LSU New Orleans in 2004. Cathy-Anne has 14 years experience in outpatient orthopedics with 10 years in Women’s Health. Her experience in physical therapy covers a wide range of diagnoses, and she treats her clients with personal, individualized care in order for them to improve their quality of life. In her spare time Cath-Anne enjoys spending time with her 3 young children that keep her busy, fishing in Grand Isle, camping (glamping), painting, and reading.

Dustin Dixon
Physical Therapist
Dustin is a Physical Therapist at Dynamic Physical Therapy's Covington location. He received a bachelor's degree in health science from Louisiana Tech University in 2004 and completed a doctorate of physical therapy from Louisiana State University-Shreveport in 2009. After spending three years of his career in general orthopedics, he sought out additional sports training at Ben Hogan Sports Medicine in Fort Worth. After two years of specialty practice at Ben Hogan, Dustin obtained his Sports Specialist Certification and with his wife and three boys, returned home to practice sports medicine in Louisiana. Clinically, he enjoys guiding all sports medicine patients in the rehabilitation process from the table back to the game drawing from his own prior experiences in basketball, marathon training, and 9+ years of clinical practice. His specific interests include athlete injury prevention and functional rehabilitation of the shoulder girdle complex in the overhead athlete. In his spare time Dustin enjoys time with family and hanging out in the great outdoors.
Laura Anne Eckel
Physical Therapist
Laura Anne earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2016 with a focus on manual therapy and orthopedics. She is originally from Tuscaloosa, AL, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Exercise Science from The University of Alabama and is a member of the LPTA, APTA, and APTA Sports & Orthopedic sections, and the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Emphasis Training: Dry needling certified, orthopedic rehabilitation, wellness programs, and spinal stabilization. In her spare time Laura Ann enjoys spending her free time with family, traveling, hiking, reading, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.
Kristen Dufour
Physical Therapist, DPT
Kristen is a physical therapist at the Covington location. She is
from Metairie, LA, graduated from LSU, and received a doctorate
degree from LSUHSC-New Orleans in Physical Therapy. She is in the
process of completing her Dry Needling Certification and has taken
several courses in Postural Restoration. Kristen resides in
Madisonville and lives with her husband, baby girl, and fur baby. Her
free time is spent soaking up time with family and friends and chasing
after her vivacious 1 1/2 year old. Kristen's hobbies include painting
acrylic abstracts and also scuba diving.
Kathryn Sayes
Physical Therapist, DPT
Kathryn is a Physical Therapist for Dynamic Physical Therapy's Covington
location. She is a graduate of UL at Lafayette where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. Kathryn later attended the University
of Central Arkansas where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and developed a passion for orthopedic and manual physical therapy. Kathryn currently lives in Covington where she enjoys spending time with her family
and friends, going to the dog park with her two Siberian huskies, and
painting.
Tiffany Surmik
Physical Therapist Assistant
Tiffany is a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Covington location. She is from New Orleans and graduated from Delgado’s Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2009. Prior to PTA school, Tiffany attended the University of New Orleans where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Human Performance and Health Promotion. Tiffany lives in Madisonville with her husband and two children. She is a former ballet dancer and loves running and doing Pilates to stay active.
