Michelle & Stephen Sierra Founders/Physical Therapists
Michelle graduated from the physical therapy program at LSU Medical Center School of Allied Health in 1995. Michelle’s passion and academic success set her up to quickly make an impact in the Greater New Orleans area healthcare that will expand and continue on for the next two decades.
After graduation, Michelle started her physical therapy career at Ochsner Medical Center (Main Campus) with a special interest in Orthopedics. Michelle assisted in the development of the Woman’s Health Program at Ochsner. She was quickly recruited to open a satellite clinic for Ochsner on the West Bank. From there Michelle became a private practice Clinic Director at a new West Bank clinic.
Stephen graduated from the PTA program at Delgado in 1995. Stephen’s professional career started with inpatient and outpatient neurologic rehabilitation. This foundation enhanced fundamental rehabilitation skills and contributes to his orthopedic abilities. Stephen has found success in treating the whole body by identifying contributing deficits and addressing the core problems. He has especially developed a passion for treating the shoulder and cervical region.
In 2000, Michelle and Stephen opened Dynamic Physical Therapy on the West Bank with a desire to do it better. Seven years later, they capitalized on Dynamic Physical Therapy’s success by expanding the business to the Northshore. Michelle and Stephen understand the need to be innovative by keeping up with the new, effective treatments. Their practice is focused on helping patients “get well” faster by using the state of the art facility, including aquatics, to better meet patient needs.
Michelle and Stephen were married in New Orleans and now reside in Madisonville, LA with their four children: Lauren, Ian, Reese, and Zachary. In their spare time, they enjoy fishing with their kids, cheering them on in baseball, football, and softball, and appreciate quality time with their friends and family.
One of the many things Michelle and Stephen love about their work is that they can give back to the community by supporting local charities, empower individuals to meet to their career goals, and help their community get back on their feet by helping them “get well” again.
